    Definitely worth the drive while visiting the hill country! Small, family owned Tex-Mex since 1973. Excellent food and very attentive service. Try the #2 Enchilada plate or the chicken or pork Pepper Plate. Salsa is fresh & chips are always warm. I hear the chicken-fried steak is great as well. Beer only but who needs anything else w/ Tex-Mex? Cash only and crowded on the weekends.

    Went here 25 years ago with some college buddies before going to Lukenbach. Came here today with my family after going to Enchanted Rock. Still good. Still greasy.

    This place is no joke. My mom has been taking me here since I was little. One of my favorite places in the Hill Country. Try it out, you wint regret it.
